Number attack is a simple and enjoyable maths game. Its aim is to improve the speed at which we perform basic mathematical skills. We live in a world of calculators; however, calculators are slow. In the time that it takes you to enter in a single number it is possible to add, subtract, multiply or divide two numbers and be working on the next.

So what makes number attack fun? Well, it begins by allowing you to challenge yourself. You can attempt to beat your best score or earn achievements (over fifty). Also, you have the ability to play head to head against your friends or your parents. You can either play with one iPad or with two. There are two different types of head to head games, duel and tug of war. With duel the aim is to out score your opponent within 2 minutes. In tug of war the objective is to score 10 more than your opponent, but be warned, the problems get harder as your lead increases.

One more thing, other math games require you to either select one answer from multiple solutions or to type the result. Number attack is different, it allows you to write the answer. It is a very natural. You can work from left to right or right to left. It depends on you.
